My name is Natalia Matamoros, founder of Unique Co.

I was born in Costa Rica, however, since I was 2 years old, due to my father's work, we moved to Equatorial Guinea (a small island located in Africa) where only French was spoken; so it was a nice challenge for me! We traveled around the world learning about different cultures. This helped me to have a creative mindset since I had to adapt to the new adventure we would have in the new country. At 16, we returned to Costa Rica, already with 3 languages (Spanish, English and French).
 

Since then I´ve not been able to leave; I love this country with all my heart! So much so that I decided to study Sustainable Tourism. My life was about knowing each of the wonders that this country has! For 10 years, I worked in the tourism industry, one of the most important positions was in
one of the most important agencies at CA and in the best position that can exist in life: my job was to inspect each of the 4 to 5 star hotels; ensure that the service is excellent to be able to offer it to the clients of the agency. Can you imagine that I work so "difficult" ??? Visit the hotels in Costa Rica where they treat you exceptionally, delicious food, fantastic tours. What more could I ask? I became the spoiled of the hoteliers. This made it increasingly more demanding with the service, seeking the excellence of our partners for our customers.

 

Later, I decided to start in this world of events combining all the experience that I had acquired together with my passion for making very tasteful parties!

 

 

And here I am, making dreams come true to our clients!

Mi nombre es Natalia Matamoros, soy la fundadora de Unique Co.
 

Nací en Costa Rica sin embargo desde los 2 años, debido al trabajo de mi padre, nos trasladamos a Guinea Ecuatorial (una pequeña isla ubicada en África). Luego, viajamos por todo el mundo conociendo diferentes culturas. Esto me ayudó a poder tener una mente más creativa ya que siempre había que adaptarse a la nueva aventura que tendríamos en el nuevo país. A mis 16 años, regresamos a Costa Rica, ya con 3 idiomas
(Español, inglés y francés).
 

Desde entonces no he podido irme; amo este país con todo mi corazón!! Tanto así que decidí estudiar Turismo Sostenible. Mi vida se trataba de conocer cada una de las maravillas que posee este país tan grande en riqueza natural. Por 10 años, trabajé en la industria turística, uno de los puestos más importantes fue en una de las agencias más importantes a nivel CA y en el mejor puesto que puede existir; consistía en inspeccionar cada uno de los hoteles de 4 a 5 estrellas; asegurar que el servicio fuese excelente para poderlo ofrecer a los clientes de la agencia. Se pueden imaginar que trabajo tan “dificil”??? Ir por los hoteles de Costa Rica, que te atiendan excepcional, comida deliciosa, tours fantásticos. Qué más podia pedir?? Me converti en la chineada de los hoteleros . Esto hizo que cada vez fuera más exigente con el servicio, buscando la excelencia de nuestros partners para con nuestros clientes.
 

Tiempo después, decidí emprender en este mundo de los eventos combinando toda la experiencia que había adquirido junto con mi pasión por hacer fiestas de muy buen gusto!
